For roughly an hour and a half, Obama lectured GOP leaders and, in a protracted, nationally-televised question-and-answer session, deflected their policy critiques, corrected their misstatements and scolded them for playing petty politics.
So effective was the president that Fox News cut away from the broadcast 20 minutes before it ended.

Liz Cheney says George W.
Bush showed more class than Barack Obama when he honored fallen troops — because Bush didn’t bring cameras along with him when he never went to Dover AFB. Reporters who covered Obama and Bush say Obama’s the first to have visited Dover.

The use of red light ticket cameras has spread to almost 300 cities across the United States.
The ticket camera promoters publicly proclaim that these cameras improve traffic safety. Privately they tout the cameras revenue generating potential to state and local officials.
